What Is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is a professional, objective, visual examination of a home’s condition. Whether you’re buying, selling or building a home it gives you valuable information about what is probably the largest single investment you’ll ever make. Please refer to our Home Inspection Services & Pricing page for a list of home inspection services offered.

Should I Be Present at the Inspection?

It isn’t necessary for you to be present at the inspection; however, being at the inspection will help you learn about your home.  The inspector can give you tips on maintenance and upkeep.  Plus it’s a good time for you to ask questions.  If you can not attend the full inspection service, then you may wish to arrive at the end of the inspection.  The home inspector will transfer the digital pictures taken during the inspection into a laptop on-site and review the findings, this review usually takes 10 to 30 minutes depending on the issues.
